SEK-Qatar Grade 3

Adventures Around Our City

Grade 3’s first field trip of the year was a roaring success! Thanks to everyone for helping to make everything run smoothly. We really hope that every student enjoyed themselves and took something valuable away from the day.

First off, we headed for Katara where we got down to exploring straight away. Students had to work together to search for various clues which helped them to complete their activity booklets.

Next up was the Corniche and some much needed refreshments after all the hard work and energy spent during our first stop.
We got to enjoy some relaxing time in the shade with lunch and games to keep us entertained.

Lastly, we made our way to Doha’s cultural centre, Souq Waqif. Here, we were able to stroll through the different avenues discovering what each corner of the market had to offer. Students also got a chance to display their artistic side as they sketched some of the architecture that was all around them, watch out Da Vinci!

Have a look at how we got on below and please comment as much as you like!

Also, if you have pictures from the trip that you would like to share then why not bring them in or send them via email.

Huge thanks to Doha Bus for accommodating us and also to everyone who helped us out on the day.
Looking forward to the next trip already! 🙂

Grade 3 Team.

    I enjoyed the field trip.
I had fun working with Marina on the treasure hunt. I am looking forward to the next field trip at Aspire Park. I missed the field trip to Aspire Park in Grade 2, so I am happy that we are going again! I like Aspire Park. And we are going to practice Orienteering and I like it because it is very popular in Sweden where I am from.

Thank you Mr. Joe, Ms. Zitta, and Ms. Nikki for organizing these nice field trips! I love them!
